Meet Hannah Johnson of Rose Gold Bridal Events

Today we’d like to introduce you to Hannah Johnson.

Hi Hannah, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
Ever since I was a little girl, I have been obsessed with all things weddings! Growing up, you could always find me watching Say Yes to the Dress or reading bridal magazines. But once I graduated from high school, I was not confident enough to make a career out of weddings, even though it was a passion and deep love of mine.

I went to East Carolina University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Science, and worked for almost ten years as an early childhood educator. I worked with children aged six weeks to five years, and it was a wonderful experience being able to bond with the children and build connections and relationships with their families.

I still had a burning passion inside me to work in the wedding industry and after trying my luck working in wedding dress stores and assisting other wedding planners, I decided to take the tremendous leap into building my own brand. I love the idea of being able to work for myself and set my own rules and being able to dictate how I want my client experience to turn out.

It has been a huge blessing to be able to create Rose Gold Bridal Events to the place it is today!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
This road has definitely not been smooth.

I started my business in early 2020 and, of course, no one could ever predict that a global pandemic would turn the world upside down. In the first year of my business, it was a huge challenge being able to get Rose Gold Bridal Events off of the ground because no one could leave their homes for a significant period of time.

However, the COVID pandemic also allowed me to gain resilience and tremendous marketing skills, which I will continue to need as the business continues to grow.

As you know, we’re big fans of Rose Gold Bridal Events. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Rose Gold Bridal Events is an elopement wedding planning company that specializes in intimate weddings and elopements.

We are based in Raleigh, North Carolina, but we serve the whole state of North Carolina and the surrounding areas. Particularly, we are a women-led and black-owned company, which we are proud to state because we know that those features are important to highlight.

Rose Gold Bridal Events takes pride in our client experience and making sure that our clients feel like family.

What does success mean to you?
Success is defined by achieving your personal goals, and it’s defined differently for each person/business. Personally, Rose Gold Bridal Events will be successful when it becomes a business that can serve every state in the country.
